My Bio
For me, art is a form of therapy, release and relaxation. I like to take the moments I am composing a piece to escape from the world temporarily.
I find the subject of trees almost every time appearing in my work, on purpose and accidental. Trees symbolize many things for me: freedom, growth, beauty, strength, memories, wisdom, life, awe of nature, and the list continues to grow.
**Karlee Mannix graduated from the University of Iowa in 2006 where she studied art and received her Bachelor’s Degree.

I am currently available for commissions. All I ask is 50% payment down so I can get fresh canvas and additional paint to start your project. I specialize in painting animals, pets, trees, and portraits but usually anything is possible if I have a photo reference! Price depends on the size of canvas and amount of details, but I charge way less than most people. I am strictly working in acrylics for the safety of my pregnancy.
